Tirupathi: Tirumala Sri Venkateswara swamy idol statue making works commenced today in Ramapuram near Tirupathi for upcoming temple at Amaravathi.  This statue making to keep as a main deity in the Sri Venkateswara Divya Kshetram at Amaravathi.  The statue works commencing tradition will be called as Sila Sangrahanam in the epic legends. The Chairman of the TTD Trust Board YV.Subba Reddy took part on this occasion.    And   special pujas, Homams performed to the Stone meant to prepare the Mula Murthy Vigraham (Main statue). Acharya purushas also performed Abhishekams and special pujas.  After the pujas chairman said the preparation of the stone idols of Mula virat the presiding deity for upcoming temple at Amaravathi commenced today in an agamic manner through a tradition programme called Sila Sangrahanam. About 18 expert sculptors from Neyveli and Namakkal of Tamilnadu will carve and sculpt the idols of Sri venkateswara swamy,  Vakulamatha, Garudalwar, Jaya-Vijaya and others in next six months time he added.
