In a first ever disciplinary action against a Hindu School in THE HAGUE, Netherlands,  the Education minister Mr Arie Slob has asked the board of the school to step down due to alleged mis-appropriation.

Mr Slob threatened to withdraw funding at the center of accusations of financial mismanagement.

In a peculiar move, the Hindu school tried to persuade a court to block publication of the education inspectors’ report.

Education inspectors also criticized the standard of teaching  ‘ below the standard’, particularly in the early years.

The board is accused of misappropriating cash meant for educational materials and spending it on pupil transport.

Mr Slob said that  the ministry will stop the school’s funding unless  the authorities replace governing board.

Mr. Edu Dumasy the  interim head,  informed the NRC that his team was working hard to address the issues raised by inspectors. He further said, he need some more time to bring it to routine systematically.
