Just a few minutes before the scheduled launch of Chandrayan-2 vehicle from the SHAR Center at Sriharikota at 02.51 hours on Monday morning , the ISRO cancelled the take off on technical snag counts.

Had the GSLV mark 3 rocket with the Chandrayaan-2 taken off today it would have touched the Moon on September 6-7 and made India as 4th member of super space club.

Even as President Ramnath Kovind came down from Tirumala to witness the historic event he was told an Hirannaih last evening and visited the platform and took photographs with .chandrayan-2
and made night halt at a star hotel in SHAR for the night .

Scientists alleged leakage of in the cryogenic engine of the rocket and that the heavy payload could have caused the leakage .This is the second postponement of Chandrayaan- earlier slated in April last and now .ISRO says it would announce new date in a week time for the launch which would cost around ₹1500 crore .
