New Delhi: Rural students have a reason to cheer as the Centre has announced that rural banking exams would be conducted in 13 regional languages along with English and Hindi. Job seekers in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh can write their exam for rural banking jobs in Telugu as well.
Telugu is among Tamil, Bangla, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Odiya, Manipuri, Punjabi, Assami, Konkani, Urdu, etc, that have been allowed for rural banking exam. Several MPs from southern state were demanding for conducting rural banking exams in regional languages.
