Terrorists are active and attacking innocent civilians, women and children in J&K even after preventive measures were enforced in wake of abrogations of special rights of Kashmir. So far seven people were injured, three grievously in Srinagar after a grenade attack by terrorists in the Hari Singh high street near Lal Chowk market area on Saturday noon .

The attack comes despite tight security in Jammu and Kashmir since the Centre revoked the article 370 on August 5. The Kashmir Zone Police tweeted that the area has been cordoned off and a search is in progress. Jammu and Kashmir police and the CRPF are conducting a search. The explosion which occurred on the roadside also damaged a vehicle parked nearby. The shops in the market were shut but a few vendors had set up stalls.
