- CM N. Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated Phase-I of the Veligonda Irrigation Project, costing Rs 7,983 crore of the total Rs 10,200 crore estimate; it will irrigate 1.19 lakh acres and supply drinking water via tap connections from Nallamala Sagar.
- Compensation of Rs 768 crore was paid to 6,206 displaced families within 48 days, as per the CM; Phase-II is planned for completion by 2028.
- YSRCP rejected the government’s claims, alleging the YS family advanced the project and accusing Naidu of attempting to “steal credit.”

Telangana Highlights (10 items)
- The Revanth Reddy-led Congress government completes 1,000 days on September 1; the CMO highlighted welfare, social justice, economic growth, infrastructure and digital governance as key pillars.
- The government highlighted a Rs 2 lakh crop-loan waiver benefiting over 25 lakh farming families, and over Rs 36,000 crore distributed under Rythu Bharosa.
- Per capita income rose to Rs 4,18,931 in 2025–26, roughly 91% higher than the national per capita income, as per government claims.
- CM Revanth Reddy challenged opposition leader KCR to a debate in the Assembly comparing 10 years of BRS rule with the Congress government’s 1,000 days.
- Reddy alleged KCR drew Rs 1.24 crore salary in 1,000 days and the government spent Rs 22 crore on his security and facilities; he also said he took no leave in this period.
- The state resolved the SC sub-categorisation issue within 1,000 days, conducted a BC caste census, and introduced policies for gig workers, sports, IT, tourism and endowments.
- The Telangana High Court heard the state’s appeal against a stay on Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak schemes; the AG argued they prevent child marriage and are valid.
